1. Introduction by Shadow

Welcome to the first issue of the Shadows newsletter. The basic content of 
this letter is all the shit that we would cover in meetings, but the 
meetings never work out, so this is how it's going to be done. In the 
following files, you'll find news, current voting topics, and once in a 
while, various texts of some use. Send all submissions to: shadow@biosys.net

July 27, 1997:

The Shadows divisional system went into review.

Shadow Enterprises was suggested.

July 30, 1997:

The Shadows web site broke 600 hits. That's 600 hits in about a month, 
which is better than some sites do in a year. 

Skie became our 25th member.


Not much news… come on members… make something happen…

3. Current Voting Topics

The following are the topics in question for the organization. Please 
respond to them via e-mail to shadow@biosys.net

1. Shadow Enterprises: Use it or don't

Shadow is considering changing the name of the organization to Shadow 
Enterprises. The name change would be part cover-up, part true. The 
cover-up part would be to cover all the "illegal" shit we've got going on, 
although right now it's just a few files on the page, and a bit of pirated 
software being transfered between members.

2. Divisions: What they should be
	
Most of you know that The Shadows organizational system is getting a 
complete overhaul. We're redoing all the division, so what do you think 
they should be?

3. Divisions: What do you want to be in
	
Of the divisions you listed above, which would you like to be in. Keep in 
mind that we are not here to teach, so if you want to be in graphics, you 
must already be able to create graphics.

Yes, you created the internet, but you gave it to us.
Now you want to take it back.
Well, sorry guys, but as they say, finders keepers, losers weepers.                                                   
You lost control and it scares you. 
You have always been in control. 
Well not any more. 
All of this information flying past bit by bit, byte by byte,                                               
and you can do nothing about it. 
This frightens you. 
You have created a monster that you cannot control.                                       
You can try with your unconstitutional 'laws' but that will not stop us.                                       
You can take down some of us, but twice as many will take their place.                                               
You could even nuke all phone lines, but we will return.
